Kim was born and raised in Jamestown N.Y. (home to Lucile Ball). She received a degree in Applied Sciences, from Nassau Community College in Long Island, N.Y. She began her career as a radiation therapist at New York Hospital in Queens. Kim remembers traveling to Williamsburg Virginia in Middle School and loved Colonial Williamsburg and the local waterpark that no longer exists here. Then as life would have it Kim moved to Williamsburg in 1999 and has been here ever since. As family members began hearing how great Williamsburg was from Kim they started moving here one by one. Now Kim’s three sisters and Mom and Dad all live here. Once in Williamsburg Kim transitioned into the real estate industry and has worked in numerous capacities in real estate since 1999. Kim’s main focus has been assisting agents in the critical areas of new home builds, staging, contracts and making sure open houses are impeccable. Kim has fallen in love with Williamsburg and the people and great friends she has met here. She looks forward to serving the people of Williamsburg and helping them in their housing needs. Kim, when not working with clients loves all aspects of nature and loves to ride her bike, walk in CW and attend yoga classes. The great outdoors is where Kim likes to spend her time. Kim likes to ring the bell for Salvation Army, and has volunteered at the humane society. Kim has a wonderful son who is extremely talented in music and specifically singing. She enjoys spending time with him and her two dogs.
TESTIMONIALS
Patient, Knowledgable, & Wonderful
"Kim Erickson was great! We were in a bit of a time crunch having sold our house in Richmond quickly and we only had 2 months to find something in Williamsburg in a very competitive market. Kim was patient with us and went to bat during some challenging negotiations with our seller! Kim is very knowledgable about the Williamsburg market and was wonderful to work with!" ~Christina K
Dream Team of Two
"We began researching the Williamsburg area and 55+ communities for a potential interstate move from Florida. Moving is a daunting task, but when you are attempting to do it from another state, it adds a heightened dimension of stress and chaos with increased financial and scheduling concerns. We were fortunate to have found Robert, who upon our first cold call gave us so much of his time and valuable information needed for a relocation. We decided to fly to Virginia last minute, not knowing our trip would be the same days Robert was away on a family vacation. He remained available via phone while he asked Kim to be with us in person. She was wonderful and we immediately clicked with her. Due to low inventory and our specific interests, we only viewed two properties, but she spent hours with us. Several were at the home we eventually purchased and she also showed us around the community, discussing all of the amenities. It didn't take long to purchase the home with this dream team of two. There was a lot of patience and hand holding through the fears, tears, and stress of our out of state move. Robert and Kim literally handled everything and did whatever they could to make things easier for us.
Even more time and dedication was given after closing in order to have work completed for our move in. There was daily communication for weeks and multiple weekly visits to the house...while we remained in Florida. Since arriving in Virginia a little over a month ago, Robert and Kim continued to assist us with so much...providing information about the house, community, county services, and providing all types of recommendation for the myriad of services we have needed to utilize, from vets to hair dressers to dentists to restaurants and more.
There are truly not enough words to express our gratitude, but we will always be thankful to Robert and Kim because without them, we don't believe we'd be here so happy in our beautiful home and community of Colonial Heritage, in this most charming and peaceful place of Williamsburg, Virgina. We have gained wonderful neighbors and friends in both of them and would be honored to be used as references." - J & A Guzman
